A successful restart

Five days, roughly 950 exhibiting companies from 27 nations and all kinds of innovations, trends and solutions for the industry – that was Internorga 2022 – a spectacular reunion. After a three-year wait, our customers were finally once again able to greet industry professionals at their stand at the leading international trade fair for the entire catering market. The building’s entire layout had been overhauled, so we needed to come up with new and creative concepts for kitting out the individual zones. We designed and implemented stalls across almost 1,000 m².

In hall A4, two of our long-standing customers exhibited with new, creative concepts in attractive locations: with 490 m², more than double the area than before was used by Service-Bund with its new cooperation partner Sander. The island stand, with an open-plan design, once again proved to be a magnet for visitors. There was plenty of room to take a seat and enjoy the freshly prepared dishes and other products on offer. The collaboration between the two companies as part of the ExpertPartnership was visualised in the form of a large rotunda, which was perfect for attracting attention from afar. In the stand area itself, the two companies had set up their own presentation zones. The exhibit was both visually partitioned and held together by the giant show-cooking counter in the centre of the space.

In the Service-Bund area, individual company brands and other key topics were presented on illuminated upright panels at the edges of the stand. The company brands ‘Rodeo’ and ‘Sourcer’ were given their own small areas within the zone where the two concepts could be experienced first-hand.

The new 224 m² stand from Block Menü was a blank slate for the customer and for us, so we finally had lots of space to play around with, without any cumbersome steps or pillars, etc. Ultimately, the area was devoted to making the visitors feel welcome. The established look was retained, but the stand was given a significantly more open design overall, with more space around the cooking counter in the centre, the catering area, the discussion areas and the kitchen. This made workflows even smoother. The product range was presented in both freezers at the edges of the stand and in new LEH fridges in Block Menü branding.

Our other customers Wela, the new customer Lafont and ServisaPOS, a proprietary Service-Bund brand, also exhibited on new stands and were thoroughly satisfied with how the trade fair went.
