Anforderung: We are more than just shipping containers! This just about sums up the brief we received from our client MAERSK for their stand at the Fruit Logistica trade fair in Berlin.
The global logistics company was keen for the design to not solely focus on its shipping and transport activities – in keeping with the recent redesign of its brand identity. Instead, it was about demonstrating the MAERSK world in its totality across 156m2: reliable and responsible logistics solutions – by road, sea and rail. ALL THE WAY from producers to retailers.
Going the whole hog? That’s exactly our thing.
Lösung: Goodbye, seagulls, harbour ambience and sea breeze. Hello, richness of colour, emotional visual imagery and multimedia information displays.
These three elements helped bring the multifaceted nature of the MAERSK brand world to life. Containers were the last thing on people’s minds– instead, the stand called attention to fragrant fruits, nourishing earth and the cool sea. That’s down to the use of warm tones and large-scale images.
Those keen to find out more could do so at the media wall and media bar – followed by a welcome chance to sit down and rest. We made sure there were plenty of chairs for visitors to do just that.
By the way: we will be adapting the concept to fit other exhibition stand sizes for future appearances at other trade fairs. That’s what ‘all the way’ means in the world of exhibition stand construction!
