Requirements: Focus on the essentials! That was the motto guiding the design of the stand for our long-standing client VATTENFALL at the WINDENERGY trade fair in Hamburg. What, in the eyes of this energy giant, constitutes essentials? Wind. Expanse Openness. Perspective. Naturally! All of these attributes were to be central elements of the stand concept – in accordance with the company’s CI and new corporate design.
In practical terms, the client wanted a stand that was open, inviting and perfectly suited to networking, one that was brimming with (wind) energy and equipped to handle a deluge of visitors.
Solution: We always focus on the essentials: keeping our customers satisfied! To that end, we designed the 89 m² corner stand to be light and airy with bright colours and rounded edges, which created an inviting atmosphere and left plenty of room for discussions among visitors.
The large photo wall complemented Vattenfall’s CI perfectly, providing an intriguing perspective on the topic of wind energy while also separating the meeting area from the networking zone. A glass lens in the wall had the effect of ‘doubling’ the subject matter. It was a powerful representation of VATTENFALL’s focus on the generation of energy through wind power – drawing attention to the essential message. We’re guessing you spotted the extremely smart integration of the logo colours into the lens edge, right?
