Comet Yxlon's trade fair stand impresses with its lightness despite the heavyweight exhibits on display. One challenge was the design of a unique ‘wing wall’: the curvature of the frame was difficult to realise with standard profiles. Thanks to our newest team member, the 3D printer, we were able to produce a suitable plastic component cost-effectively and quickly. The result was a seamless and perfectly shaped fabric covering that skilfully showcased the exhibits. A clear example of how modern technology enriches traditional trade fair construction. Perfect for any stand size: the tried-and-tested concept from GIFA Düsseldorf was adapted to 60 m² for the trade fair appearance at the subsequent productronica in Munich.

The GIFA Düsseldorf trade fair is the international foundry trade fair with WFO Technical Forum. A large number of national and international exhibitors showcase their machines, systems and products as well as the latest in foundry technology at GIFA Messe Düsseldorf.
