Orlen, operator of the Star petrol stations, attracted a lot of attention at this year's Tankstelle & Mittelstand in Essen, especially with the presentation of an Alpha Tauri Formula 1 car. Numerous trade visitors stopped by the Elmshorn-based oil company's presentation area, which also looked like a real petrol station. A true-to-the-original 'attika' created an extreme long-distance effect thanks to high trusses with backlit banners in the signal color red. This made it easy for visitors to find their way around the stand. The use of media technology with moving images also attracted a lot of attention, for example at the so-called 'Stargate' or on the price column. The theme of sustainability was integrated into the presentation with graphics, plants and an electric charging station. The company's own shop system for the Star petrol stations was also used, particularly for catering for guests.
